We used Google Cloud's (GCP) Kubernetes Engine (GKE) for data processing and model traning and k3s for edge server deployments. Initially I wrote the inference server which was deployed to a fleet of edge servers that had to be managed with Ansible and continuous intergration usign GitOps. The end-to-end system intergrated with half a dozen microservices from data collextion to retail expperience. -

The end result was an automated pipeline on AWS that processed data on a regular schedule, trained a model and deployed multiple endpoints for inference.
