Developed project costs, and also assisted with electrical layout/design for many industrial clients, throughout the Mid-Ohio Valley. Projects ranged from expansions, IT equipment, fire protection, and new construction.

Worked as a planner/scheduler for Mon Power in the Lines Department. Visited customers on a daily basis for new commercial and residential service. Enjoy the customer interaction and working on quality electrical design and support.

Was the I/E engineer in the maintenance department for almost 10 years. Work mostly with capital projects ranging from 1.4MM for a 2nd plant power transformer to other reliability projects and production improvements. Maintenance reliability was a large part of our plant KPI’s improving the OEE of the plant to over 90%. Enjoyed reliability improvement projects and using new technologies such as Ultrasound and Thermography to trend equipment.

Was the electrical engineer for the plant working with utility reliability projects. Also natural gas kiln automation. Did several lighting projects while onsite, and helped with other tasks when the opportunity arose.

Worked on projects for varying departments around the aluminum smelter. Projects ranged from production efficiency to equipment reliability. Also commissioned a automated SOW casting machine to safely pour molten metal from a remote location, this was a safety project to improve the way the metal was processed and sold. Plant was curtailed in early 2009 due to high electric costs and low metal prices.
