Matt White is a seasoned health plan and physician services and care delivery strategist and operator that has cultivated a reputation for creating and leading high performing teams to create top and bottom line growth across a variety of health plan and physician services leadership roles. Matt is the former strategist of a health care startup focused on bridging the gap between health plans and independent medical groups to capture and empower Physicians, and their patients, by deploying robust virtual medicine and remote telemonitoring capabilities coupled with mobile care and hospital at home units to manage patients with chronic conditions and address acute exacerbation on an outpatient basis. Prior, he was a National Director of Market Strategy and Product Innovation for Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield focused on designing and executing contracting, MSO and benefit design strategies to retain commercial and Medicaid lives as they age into Medicare. And, before Anthem, Matt held a series of successive strategy, health plan and MSO leadership roles with Humana focused on its’ Medicare Advantage business, incl.: Business Development, Concentra Primary Care; Strategy Engagement Leader, Corporate Strategy, Mergers and Acquisitions, Venture Capital; Chief of Staff and Regional Health Plan Operations Leader, Medicare Advantage Retail Segment; Director, MSO Operations - East Region, Transcend Population Health Management. While with Humana, Matt held the position of Lecturer, Department of Business, Government & Society at the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin, and has served on nonprofit boards. Matt obtained a J.D. from Elon University School of Law, Transnational Law Certificate from Duke Law, and a B.A. from The George Washington University. Matt has led organizations as large as 165 and has had care delivery P&L responsibility of $280M and health plan P&L responsibility of almost $3B.
