Olivia White is an Associate General Counsel at OkCoin, one of the largest and fastest growing cryptocurrency exchanges in the world, where she specializes in navigating global licensing, regulation and legislation geared towards innovative new technologies. Prior to OkCoin, Olivia managed complex, high-stakes regulatory investigations for Meta Platforms, Inc. A former government attorney with a decade of experience advising private companies and elected officials, Olivia previously led an in-house public policy team for a financial services start-up, managing engagement with policymakers and regulators at the federal, state, and local levels.Olivia has served as a senior advisor to C-Suite executives and managed cross-functional teams to shape desired business outcomes in matters of consumer protection. Earlier in her career, Olivia also served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable William J. Lafferty III of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Northern District of California. She holds a J.D. from UC Hastings College of Law and a B.A. in Art History from UCLA. Prior to law school, she worked for art galleries and interned at high profile arts institutions such as the Getty Center in Los Angeles. A graduate of San Francisco’s prestigious French American International School, Olivia is fluent in French. As an alumna, she continues to give back to the school most recently as a member of the school’s Auction Board, with a focus on fundraising for financial aid programs. In addition to her volunteer work, Olivia enjoys hiking, live music and investing in her local community.
