My primary focus is to bring structure to the company by providing leadership, developing strategic initiatives, creating the annual budget, enhancing financial reporting, and developing insightful reports and KPIs. By creating and setting a company-wide OKR goals program, I collaborate with cross-functional teams to spearhead various initiatives to improve processes, continually reduce costs and save time on admin work, all well empowering the team to have the confidence to share their own ideas. In the past year alone, I have managed to increase profitability by 4%, by implementing various strategies including minimum order gross margins, vendor cost analysis, and scrap costing. I am particularly proud of the sales pipeline overhaul and CRM solution I introduced to generate new business and engage with inactive customers, working with consultants to fully customize it to our business needs.

In this role, I managed the supply chain, logistics, and the manufacturing order flow, as well as being an integral part of the leadership team. I focused on implementing new processes and maximized our ERP system to be used to its full potential, resulting in accurate item cost reporting and a reduction in inventory variance to below 1%. I provided training and mentoring to a department of 4 direct reports in addition to overseeing the manufacturing team of 12, motivating them and providing support to consistently meet sales goals. I am most proud of the inventory management system revitalization I executed to eliminate overspending, automate reordering, and avoid stock-outs, which led to more satisfied customers and improved overall cost allocation.

My role allowed me to partner with the project team throughout the entire project lifecycle from estimation to closeout, ensuring all documents were accurately prepared and delivered. I researched, wrote, and implemented health and safety policies, as well acting as the certified COR internal auditor for the company. I also organized monthly team building events that increased employee satisfaction and reduced attrition. During my time there, I developed and delivered many detailed project proposals, winning various $500,000+ construction projects.

In this role, I was the subject-matter expert for the Collections service department, using my expertise to provide training and support to teams across Canada. I was responsible for ensuring our customers were paid accurately and correctly, making sure all discrepancies were resolved, locations were consistently collected, and customers were set up correctly, allowing the revenue calculations to flow through our internal systems. I also drove special projects to reduce operational costs and redesigned many inefficient processes, while collaborating with various teams, to free up valuable team time to work on key projects. I am most proud of a route overhaul process I improved which saw an annual savings for $150,000 for the company.
