I am responsible for a variety of accounting and payroll functions for WCF and its subsidiary companies (approximately 450 employees), including: reviewing bi-weekly processing, quarterly and annual payroll tax filing reconciliations, as well as monthly financials, accounts payable and receivable, and collections. I helped lead the successful implementation of a new payroll and HR information system that went live on January 1, 2014. My primary role included training of the payroll staff, mapping earnings and deductions to benefits and the general ledger. We accomplished this successful implementation because of collaboration between our finance and HR teams.
