My name is Whitney. I am passionate about research and I am passionate about software development. I have completed a number of research projects. One of my most recent research experiences was at Bell Labs in the summer of 2015. I also completed research with a professor at my university in Energy Efficient Computing. This research project produced a technical paper. My other passion is software development. I have programming experience in Java, C, C++ and python. My software projects include a compiler for a programming language my team and I designed, a web server, a database management system, a scheduler, and many more. I have graduated with a Master’s Degree in Computer Science in May of 2016. I am a Google Scholar, an Intel Scholar, and a Master’s Teaching Assistant Fellow. All in all, I believe that I will prove an asset in any software development or research position.
