With my job experience, I've worked a lot with the public. After high school I did a gap year program to focus on me as a person, and figuring out what I'm passionate about. After that I worked at the YMCA for a while in Child care, and taught piano there as well. I also nannied quite a bit in that time. I loved working with children and seeing/ helping them develop so I became a teachers assistant/ substitute teacher. I love that job a lot. I loved the relationships you grew with the parents and kids. I'm from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, and those jobs that I had were in Rockford, Illinois. After living there for a while we found out my grandma had brain cancer, so I decided to move back home. With being at the hospital so much, I wanted to do something in the medical field. More on the business side because I don't think I could be a nurse. I then got a job at a family practice as a receptionist, and I love it.
