Co-Founder of Jems, a safer sex brand for today's generation, and a Partner / Co-Founder at Whitman Emorson, an award winning strategic design studio in Toronto, Canada.For over 15 years, I’ve been at the forefront of strategic design, collaborating with global brands such as MTV, Coca-Cola, Oprah Winfrey, and the Mayo Clinic during my time with Bruce Mau Design in Toronto, Chicago, and New York. In 2011, I co-founded Whitman Emorson, where we work across diverse sectors and geographies to deliver innovative solutions—from brand and visual identities to packaging, signage, editorial, and exhibition design. Our clients include established brands such as Arts Brookfield, H&M, Holt Renfrew, Hilton Hotels & Resorts, Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Allied REIT, Tricon, and the University of Toronto. Additionally, we have launched successful startups like B Yoga, Knix, and Ensembl.Our passion for supporting mission-driven organizations has led us to partner with impactful groups like Choice in Health Clinic, Newark Educators’ Community Charter School, Sea Change, and Ilisaqsivik, helping accelerate their impact through design.In 2022 we launched Jems with a mission to reimagine safer sex and create products that are truly for all. While searching for birth control options, we realized that traditional condom brands often lack transparency in ingredients and cater predominantly to a cis-gendered, heterosexual male audience. Recognizing that many are left out of this conversation, we created Jems to fill this critical gap.
