Held core leadership role in largest department responsible for managing and supporting 350 field staff and majority of the organization’s thousands of volunteer leaders. Played a pivotal part in implementing a regional field model to enhance local impact and support delivery. Oversaw daily operations, communications and stakeholder engagement, while supervising core support units including Training, Chapter Support, Outdoor Activities and Distributed Organizing.

Led unit charged to strengthen the capacity of 60+ chapters and over 300 local sub-entities, and provided strategic oversight for skill building and resource delivery to support 4,000+ chapter volunteer leaders and 200+ staff to manage their chapters. Supervised staff and directed programs aimed at enhancing grassroots infrastructure sustainability.

Developed and led training program focused on movement building and campaign organizing, embedding equity, justice, and inclusion throughout. Trained hundreds of chapter staff and volunteer leaders over three years while recruiting, coaching, and overseeing teams of volunteer and staff trainers to implement training events nation-wide.

Built grassroots power for the Oklahoma Beyond Coal Campaign by increasing public engagement and establishing successful teams across multiple communities. Led statewide organizing, strategy development, and implementation efforts. Trained volunteers on topics such as media, public speaking, and lobbying. Represented Sierra Club in public and media, raising awareness of coal and clean energy issues, organized to influence decision-makers, ultimately securing the retirement of three coal plants, fulfilling key campaign objectives.

Implemented tactics to support clients' objectives through research and development background materials, recruiting and training volunteers for lobbying activities such as letter writing, phone calls, and meetings with elected officials. Developed media strategies by coordinating letter-to-the-editor and opinion editorial writers, recruiting interviewees for radio and television, and preparing talking points and draft letters.
