Co-founder/ director of a nonpartisan, all-volunteer 501(c)3 organization that bridges parochial and magisterial boundaries to promote a more coordinated approach to watershed protection. FoHR members seek to protect and restore our 42-sq.-mi. sub-watershed of the Potomac River/Chesapeake Bay watershed through strategic actions, public education, and advocacy. Specifically, FoHR: *Serves as a “voice” for Holmes Run to policy makers and the public *Makes it easy for local residents, businesses and other stakeholders to understand and do the right thing for the watershed *Provides a mechanism for collaboration among property owners, environmentalists, local government and other stakeholders
