I arranged, implemented and assessed 7 annual major events as well as monthly networking events. I created and maintained business relationships to develop sponsorships for all events. I also monitored and forecasted all major event budgets.

I effectively communicated event information through company website and social media to the community which resulted in record attendance for a major event. I worked closely with the small business committee to determine application and judging for awards given out at the event.

In this position, I assisted the facilitation of 11 area board of directors and council meetings to help enhance community development efforts. I frequently compiled database reports, monthly newsletters and maintained event calendar updates for the company website. Also, I proactively enhanced member services to increase and retain more than of 1,700 members.

I advised 70 ambassadors and organized member businesses ribbon cuttings to promote community outreach. I also corresponded with businesses to communicate member benefits in order to retain membership.

As an Extension Agent for Family and Consumer Sciences, I conducted county wide programs on educational information to enhance people's lives. I planned events to coordinate with community efforts to reach a diverse group of people. I implemented marketing strategies for upcoming programs and purchased supplies needed for various programs. After the program was completed I provided statistical reports based on program impact. I reviewed the office and program area budget to determine the needs of various programs. Also, I analyzed programs and needs to produce reports on a weekly, monthly and yearly basis.

As an Intern for the Family and Consumer Science Agent, I assisted in preparing for various meetings and programs. I gathered reports and researched material to present at meetings in order to conduct successful planning meetings. I also developed mass media material to promote local events and programs.
