Whitney managed a caseload of about 20 children in higher level foster care and the homes they live in. She assisted the foster parent with collecting appropriate paperwork and creating and updating treatment plans so that the children in the foster homes receive the appropriate services.

Created weekly lesson plans in Math, Science, English, and Social studies. She also taught Sixth grade and Fifth grade English, as well as Kindergarten

Created a volunteer recruitment strategy plan, as well as volunteer recognition strategies.

Practiced Solution-Focused Therapy during fifty-minute sessions with students in theArlington Independent School District, as well as adults in the community. Ran a group therapy session for at risk high school students, who were recommended bytheir school counselor, at the local high school. Recorded progress notes during or after each session.

Assisted residents in referrals for the resources they needed to become self-sufficient, including help in finding a job, housing, food, clothing, medical services,and transportation for themselves and any dependents. Recorded progress notes for each resident.
