In high school I earned several first place awards at conference art fairs, along with a few second, third, and honorable mention. I earned first place all-southwest Iowa on a stippling of a horse. In college I earned a Silver ADDY Award voted on by Nebraska professional advertisers. Since July 2014, I have worked part-time at the Winterset Madisonian and The Shopper, Winterset, Iowa and owned by the same individual as a graphic designer. I also complete the layout design for both papers. Additionally, I have done free lance commissioned art work, including painting a boulder in Orient, Iowa of the Mormon Trail. I have also been involved in teaching individual art lessons to young children.
