About Whitney Johnston Ph.D.

My purpose is to protect and restore nature and building a “climate future” where we can all thrive. As a climate scientist and oceanographer by training and a mother of two, I am deeply troubled by how climate change and biodiversity loss are already impacting people around the globe and how they are unfolding at a dizzying pace. It is imperative that we work together to build a better future - the best future we can, given the changes we already have in store for us. We need to implement transformative policies, innovative climate solutions, and major shifts in how we do business in order to build a future where we can not merely sustain, but thrive. I am passionate about using my career to work on the following:♦ To advance scalable solutions to climate change and nature loss♦ To use business and philanthropy as a force for good♦ To put equity at the center of climate and nature action Read more about my purpose here: https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/finding-purpose-2021-whitney-johnston-ph-d-/I have a proven record of being able to vision, strategize, and realize alliances between the business, government, and scientific communities by identifying win-win solutions.CONTACT ME: Feel free to send a message and connect with me.Nature & Climate | Innovation Strategist | Implementing business and philanthropy solutions at scale
