Whitney Frances Falk is an antiquarian, moonlighting historian, and relentless creative. Prior to making ZZ what it is today, Whitney worked in experiential design as well as in creating residential and commercial interiors. Her efforts included leading the design for the first five Big Quiets, the renowned massive meditations taking place in extraordinary locations around the world. In addition individuals like Martha Stewart, Harry Belafonte, Eric Schmidt, Shiza Shahid, Esther Perel, and even the former Prime Minister of France, Dominique de Villepin, have all lounged in Whitney's created settings and interiors. Before ZZ, Whitney was Vice President in Institutional Equity Research Sales (aka a stockbroker) at the global investment bank Jefferies in their New York headquarters. While at Jefferies, she was the youngest individual in the firm’s history to cover multi-billion dollar accounts solely on her own and was awarded Rookie of the Year in 2012 (the youngest female ever to receive the award), Jefferies Women’s Initiative Rising Star of the Year in 2013, New York Women’s Bond Club Runner-Up Rising Star of the Year 2013, and an appointed member to the Jefferies Emerging Leadership Committee. Prior to Jefferies, Whitney began her professional career in New York working as an administrative assistant at a hedge fund. With hustle, conviction, creativity, and street smarts playing equal parts, Whitney quickly succeeded in becoming a lauded and awarded senior financial professional at Jefferies, earning a unique distinction amongst her colleagues and on Wall Street in general. Whitney has a BA in Art History from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, paid for her private four-year tuition on her own, and has a self-taught education in economics (and design).
