I love self-help books. From business to health to overall well-being, I love figuring out how I can constantly improve all aspects of my life. This transitions into my work as well. I have never been satisfied with the status quo. I love solving problems and analyzing why things are done a certain way and how we can improve them. My time with Marriott gave me a deep understanding of financial statements and how various activities impact the bottom line. It also taught me the importance of strategic collaboration. To achieve our financial initiatives, I worked closely with other department heads to help them understand how to analyze food menu items and identify which were profitable. I also helped them recognize which statistics to consider when staffing their departments. Both of these lowered costs, increasing our profit margin. During my time at Ernst & Young, I developed a passion for coaching, developing, and project management. I developed strategies to utilize staff time more efficiently, enabling our practice to drive productivity and employee satisfaction. I also refined project timelines and status meetings to ensure we utilized time effectively and communicated issues in real time. I scheduled regular meetings with staff above and below me to share feedback to improve my team and myself.During my time with the start-up, MindLift, I developed new service offerings and business development strategies based on our target customers' needs. On projects, I used analytics to gain customer insights and optimize contact center processes. I guided our clients in KPIs and indices selection and analysis of newly-acquired data to facilitate the creation of prescriptive action plans. Key Skills: financial analysis, internal controls, forecasting, budgeting, process optimization, communication, project management, strategy development, public speaking, coaching, leading teams
