Whitney Reed is a Reliability SuperintendentM.S. ChE, CMRP, EIT at LACC (Lotte Chemical). They possess expertise in cost projections, sizing, deliver results, chemical, high pressure and 151 more skills. Colleagues describe them as "I have worked with Whitney for 2 years and I can state that she is one of the most dedicated professionals I have worked with. She is willing to put that extra work for you when you need it. She has extremely strong work ethic and works very well with others. One of Whitney’s key strengths is her ability to deal with conflicting priorities under high pressure situations. Being the only Project Engineer for 1,000 kTA cracker facility, she managed and delivered 10+ projects for the site in timely manner. Whitney will be a valuable asset to any company, and without any hesitation I would work with her at any given time and day.", "Whitney is a pleasure to work with. She knows her business and her performance is tops. She takes every task to heart and works hard to see that every problem is solved. Whitney will come in early and stay late to ensure a project is successful.", and "To whom it may concern: Whitney Rieks worked directly with me for over a year straight. Working on the Seadrill West Neptune offshore drill ship, she worked night tours as an MWD Field Engineer, while I worked the day tour. Although we worked opposite shifts, it was a frequent occurrence that a certain job would require 2 people’s attention, and during these times I would work side by side with her. In the time we worked together, I never once left work worried that she would not be able to handle the work that was laid in front of her. She always proved to be extremely dependable, diligent and driven to do the job correctly and efficiently. In the instances where 2 people were needed for the job, she was always thoughtful to wait until the proper time to get me out of bed, and made sure that the jobsite was ready when I arrived, so that I could help her in performing the job and return quickly to bed. Often times, when working with other engineers, while sleeping, they would wake me up, due to mistakes they made or problems they were facing. In the time I worked with Whitney, she never woke me up one time for any of these issues. She demonstrated great troubleshooting and problem solving skills that many of the other engineers I worked with did not have. Whitney is very personable and easy to work with. After working a 12 hour tour, she would hand over the details of her tour and any notes or recommendations she would have in a very organized and easy to follow manner. When she left, I never found myself scrambling to gather myself and catch up on what was going on. And quite often she would stay over after her tour to make sure things continued smoothly, while also engaging in small talk such as discussing news, politics and other things outside of work. When we first started working together, Whitney was only proficient in a small number of tools that we ran. In one years’ time, she had become proficient in all of the tools that we were running on this particular job. Multiple times I was asked by my supervisor if she was ready to be a supervisor herself and lead her own project, and I unquestionably said yes. Whitney was the first woman ever in the Gulf of Mexico to become an RPS (Radiation Protection Supervisor) for Baker Hughes. While training for this promotion, she would frequently ask me questions, and have me quiz her on different scenarios that she may face when she became an RPS. In conclusion, I believe Whitney can be an incredible asset to any company that is looking to hire her. She is a diligent and proficient worker. She proved herself time and time again during the time she worked with me. She demonstrated herself to be very capable in any task I put her up to. I would be very happy to have her on any team I was a part of. I'd be happy to answer any other questions you might have about her specific skills and experience if needed. Sincerely, Jeffery J. Wiehe Offshore Field Supervisor"
