In this position, I work with local service providers to help connect them with potential clients the through specific media sources. Acting as the Assistant Manager, I handle the administrative work for the company, including scheduling, payroll, supervising, and training As a marketing consultant, I meet with clients to help them select the media options that best fit their needs and get them the best exposure to their potential customers.

As a test scorer, I worked with the company on a specific project scoring the written portion of Language Arts exams for grades ranging 6-9. I was tasked with editing and scoring the exams based on a the rubric and guidelines for standard English conventions and grammar as well as the sophistication of the writing style and content.

As a participant in the Disney College Program, I had a number of incredible opportunities. I worked as a Fairy Godmother in Training in the Magic Kingdom, giving me the ability to have constant guest interaction. These interactions included a great deal of story line creation with young guests as well as problem solving and trouble shooting for parents with questions. Besides being able to work for the company, there were also a number of professional networking events and seminars which I was able to attend. I also participated in an eight week Disney Marketing and Sales seminar which went in depth into some of Disney's marketing strategies, insights, and structures in order to help me develop my own skills and apply these ideas.

I worked with the directors of each production to set up an advertising concept for the show. I also worked with various media outlets for advertising every production as well as the season as a whole. Other duties included helping to design and prepare posters, playbills, and other publicity materials, distributing these materials, setting up promotional appearances, writing and editing the program content for each show, and acting as a public face for those who are interested in our program.

During the summer season, I coordinated the efforts of the company's business office to advertise the season lineup as well as each individual production. The business office, consisting of 6-13 people (depending on the season), functioned as the company's marketing team as well as box office associates. In my position, I worked with local media outlets to plan all of the advertising for season, coordinated promotional appearances, as well as working on all creative elements and marketing materials for the season. In addition, I served as an actress for the company as well as a house manager and stage manager during productions.

I work with children grades 1-3 or 4-5 once a week to develop basic acting skills and techniques. Participants learn about the theatre and its various aspects through games and activities. I strive to create a positive environment where participants not only feel comfortable to have fun being themselves, but learning and trying new things.
