I am a UI/UX designer with an educational background in visual arts, pastry arts and restaurant management. My journey has taken me in several different niche directions with an emphasis on customer service and creative problem-solving skills. I take pride in transforming ideas into user-friendly digital products that seamlessly blend functionality and visual appeal. Working in the restaurant and service industry in the front of the house environment I created customer relationships while building and growing the business through not only customer satisfaction but also through menu, web development and marketing and media campaigns to help increase sales and ensure the customer’s experience from first impression to point of sale was satisfactory. From the back of the house side of the restaurant industry as a Pastry Chef I used my creativity to create unique menu items which eventually led me to starting my own bakery where I not only created the menu and executed each order but was also responsible for website development, marketing and media, branding and photography. My passion for user centered experiences and my background in the arts has led me to transition into UI design, where I can apply my skills and interests to build satisfying product experiences and solutions while maintaining business objectives and combining them with user requirements.
