I design public relations, marketing, social media campaigns and promotional events for consumer facing clients. From emerging wellness brands to large legacy retailers and from performing art venues to national associations, I help brands hone messaging, raise visibility and build their stakeholder communities. In this role I served as the executive director for ColorComm, a professional development organization for women of color in the communications industry. Here I led the organization in it's early days and oversaw the founding team in Washington, DC. As a result of our work dedicated to advancing the work of our members, the organization quickly expanded to six other markets around the country and soon began attracting members from around the world. As the team leader my responsibilities included fostering relationships with sponsors and partners, conceptualizing career developing events, providing guidance to teams in new markets, securing media coverage and more.

As a PR/Marketing representative for Oscar Mayer, affectionately known as a "Hotdogger," I gained corporate PR experience as part of the Wienermobile program. In this highly-competitive position, I drove the famed Wienermobile during a nationwide tour while coordinating events for the purpose of positive exposure. I led my team in securing media coverage including a spot on on the Memphis Early Show. I also worked with Weber Shandwick’s Chicago based PR firm to gain national coverage including a guest appearance on Sabado Gigante, a popular Spanish speaking variety show on Univision.
