In my position with Drawbridge, a recruiting and staffing firm in oil and gas, I was able to marry my experiences with tech, operations, and recruitment to help support the company and its clients. In addition to recruiting for roles from the field to corporate VP level positions, I was responsible for supporting the company’s contract staffing division.

At Alliance Insurance, we provided a wide range of insurance coverages to mainly commercial, but also personal, clients. In my position, I led the marketing department in all aspects of supporting both the sales and service teams for the agency, our associate program (Alliance Insurance Group), and our timekeeping and payroll solution (Alliance Business Services). I was also responsible for assisting with the sales in our Associate Program as well as the training curriculum for members.

The AR Group is a boutique law firm specializing in employment law and HR services through it's Uncommonly Smart HR platform. I was responsible for the overall operations of the firm soup to nuts from bookkeeping to marketing. We serviced a number of public sector, government contracts in addition to specializing in small business legal support for clients ranging from breweries to non-profits. While this was my first step into the legal space, my background with owning and working for small businesses prepared me well for working with our exciting and diverse range of clients. Additionally, my writing background allowed me to create a range of content for the firm and USHR including government RFPs, HR guides, blogs, newsletters and more.

As the industry boomed, I transitioned into a full time, full-desk recruiter position with RTS CORP. Our clients consisted largely of upstream operators and engineering firms. From sourcing and cultivating a network of passive professional candidates in the Rockies region to building relationships with new clients, I was responsible for the full scope of the Engineering and Field Services vertical. Success was found in filling a variety of roles from C-suite operational executives and high-level field supervisory roles to hard to find engineering personnel.

My previous experience helping run a successful marketing firm prepared me for the challenge of bringing RTS CORP, one of Denver's most well-established staffing agencies, into the modern era of recruiting, utilizing online marketing techniques for a more dynamic approach. During this process, the journalist in me fell in love with hearing people's stories and I transitioned into recruiting full time. That same curiosity is what led me to specializing in business development as I thoroughly enjoyed learning about the technical aspects of the industry from the folks I worked with on a daily basis. I also enjoyed being an key part of the company's overall marketing and content strategy.I am very proud to say that as a result of this collaboration, RTS CORP received the 2013 Recruitment Agency of the Year Award, Rocky Mountain Region at the Oil & Gas Awards. After 37 years of serving exclusively the oil and gas industry in the Denver area, this was a huge honor for the company!

In Co-Founding FeelGoodNow, we were dedicated to creating and cultivating a company devoted to helping alternative health and wellness practitioners grow their practices. We focused on educating practitioners how to best use Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and other online outlets to grow their client base and brand awareness through educational workshops and online resources. Our dynamic educational content from articles and ebooks to videos and classes were my main focus as the VP of Media. I constantly strove to produce, deliver and curate a high-quality, educational body of resources for alternative health practitioners and consumers alike. We were particularly focused on the use of engaging online video to promote, educate and engage practitioners, companies and consumers alike. Not only did we produce a wide variety of video content, we distributed it throughout our various online outlets as well.

Graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Denver with a BA in Journalism Studies with an emphasis in Creative Writing and a Studio Art Minor.

I was responsible for pitching, writing, and editing blogs for both The Back Beat and On the Edge blogs.

I assisted Sarah Levin with promotions, artists management, booking and night of show production.

I was selected as one of four student critics nationwide to review student films from mtvU's Best Film on Campus. Each month, I selected a noteworthy film and wrote a review of the piece which was also tapped as a video spot that aired on mtvU networks.
