As a Co-Owner and Oil Painting Instructor at III of Cups Gallery, I strive to foster an expressive learning environment where beginners can learn introductory oil painting techniques, as well as, make a positive difference in the local community. I instruct and guide up to seven students through three-hour class sessions by utilizing open and honest communication to help students uncover their potential. Through this gallery, my team and I engage with the local community by curating monthly art shows, as well as, developing and hosting community events.

As a trainer, I facilitate and conduct three-week training sessions for up to 30 new hires. These intensive training programs are designed to enhance each employee's knowledge of company services and procedures, as well as, immediately increase their confidence and productivity in the workplace.In this role, I serve as a mentor and advocate for new hires by utilizing teaching methods that resonate with trainees and foster an environment conducive to learning and personal growth. Often, I travel to satellite offices to conduct training and collaborate across teams.In addition, I work with executive leadership in order to identify areas of improvement within Nelnet’s training. Then I write, develop, and organize the training curriculum based on the identified needs of each department.

In this role, I prioritized customer service by taking the time to understand the customer’s needs, as well as, worked with partners across teams in order to deliver timely, comprehensive solutions. I successfully managed multiple projects simultaneously and resolved customer complaints through strong organization skills, communication and ability to work well under pressure. As a Default Management Representative, there was a strong emphasis on attention to detail, internal and external customer service practices, as well as, adaptability to a fast-paced, and volatile office environment. In addition, I became a certified as a coach and mentor for newly hired employees, as well as, monitored individual progress to provide action-based feedback to ensure success.
