I am Whitnie Wiley, Shifting Into Action's founder and chief evolution officer (SIA). With a dedication spanning over 25 years, I've devoted my life to empowering next-stage leaders and professionals. My vision is clear: to guide individuals in building careers that resonate deeply with their unique talents and aspirations while fueling their broader life goals. In my journey, I've developed a multifaceted approach. As a premier next-stage coach, I offer bespoke training programs, retreats, and coaching sessions tailored to individuals and groups. This is not just about achieving dreams; it's about seamless career transitions, leadership development, and overall personal growth. But my work isn't limited to individuals. I actively partner with businesses, providing expertise to enhance succession management, leadership development, human resources, and overall talent cultivation. This holistic approach stems from my rich background. Before SIA's inception, I pioneered the establishment of the legal department at the Association of California Water Agencies. I was responsible for innovative programs like its legislative intern/externship and mentoring initiatives.Throughout the years, my leadership journey has seen me chairing the Association of Corporate Counsel’s New-to-In House committee and serving in pivotal roles for esteemed organizations, including the California State Bar. My passion also extends to giving back. That's why I've dedicated time and expertise to nonprofit platforms like Catchafire and Lepris. One of the avenues I cherish is my role as a writer and podcaster. I was the voice behind the "Lead the Way" column for the Association of Corporate Counsel’s Docket magazine for almost seven years. Through it, I've reached a global audience, offering insights on enriched careers and transformative leadership. This is further complemented by my work as the host of the "Love Your Work" podcast and as a co-host on "Life, Lemons & LemonDrops" and "The State of Leadership: SIMPLE & Beyond."My literary journey also includes contributions to bestsellers like “The Joy of Work,” “Voices of Leadership,” "Women Who Empower," and "The Fearless Entrepreneurs," among others. With the insights I've gained as a leader and feedback from my treasured readers and clients, I eagerly look forward to releasing my upcoming book, "The SIMPLE LeaderTM," and launching "The SIMPLE Leadership MethodTM."
