Walter Jennings counsels CEOs on corporate and professional reputation. He develops strategies to communicate clearly on complex subjects from geopolitcs to emerging technology. He has hands-on experience gained working with major MNCs and global agencies in China, Hong Kong, Australia, and USA. Walter has expertise in emerging technology and financial services, including banking, venture capital, digital assets, blockchain, 5G, and more. Walter was Vice President, Global Corporate Communications at Huawei world headquarters in Shenzhen. He and colleagues had responsibility for shaping and communicating Huawei's corporate reputation in 174 of the company's 175 markets (not responsible for China Mainland). He introduced International KOL relations, and led global CSR and ESG reporting and communications. He has hands-on crisis experience on global trade issues from his time at Huawei. Walter recently led brand and communication at Hong Kong's Web3 Fintech community leader, Finoverse. Walter developed a new name, logo, and branding - from Finnovasia to Finoverse - to showcase the company's global expansion. He hosted 41 podcast episodes of 'Waves in the Finoverse' exploring and decoding Web3 Fintech innovations. Walter led the reputation and branding for HashKey Group to support their successful SFC application to open a regulated digital asset exchange in Hong Kong. He produced the on-line course on Tokenisation, and hosted 25 podcasts episodes of "Crypto Savvy: The Essentials". Walter is CEO of Asia Insight Circle (AIC), a C-suite networking and thought leadership association headquartered in Hong Kong. AIC meets monthly behind "closed doors" for issue-specific dialogues with recognised experts, from CEOs to academics to government leaders. Walter lives in Sai Kung, Hong Kong with his husband of 32 years, Santo Rizzuto.
