I began working in the oil industry in 1971 as a welder's helper, roustabout, and well servicing in the summer, and have since spent the last 40+ years perfecting my craft as a welder and inspector. I am a highly trained and skilled expert in maintenance and construction in the oil industry. Of last 49 years that I have spent working in the oil industry, I have spent the last 20 in a managerial position overseeing construction crews on various projects in Texas, New Mexico, and Colorado. I possess excellent leadership skills, have hands on experience in each position that I have overseen, and am a firm believer in leading by example. I am extremely knowledgable in pipelines, oil, and gas facilities, providing expert direction in all aspects of construction. I am able to recognize problems and solve them with a full understanding of the importance of forming a strong relationship with all personnel involved for the good of the project and future work. I am extremely detail oriented, and believe in letting my workmanship shine through each project completed. I am very familiar with material procurement, estimating, scheduling, and coordinating cost for each job. I am a highly skilled draftsman, and am extremely experienced in creating P&IDs, ISOs, and weld maps.
