Performed several communications and operational tasks for the Talent and Organizational Development department:Led creation of University enterprise video depicting UM's divisions of academia, athletics, healthcare and advancement. Conducted University departmental research for story development and content creation. Collaborated with production vendor to write copy for script, design illustration and production. Maintained accuracy of video. The video is shown twice per week at the University's campus-wide employee orientations.Led re-design of the home page of UM's professional development website, 'U-Learn' as part of UM's first e-learning integration. Worked with Cornerstone partner to develop a more intentional landing page that would prompt employees for professional development. The redesign incorporated a new learner-friendly layout, new search mechanisms, featured training, photo gallery, tech support, and more. The integration made available over 3,000 professional resources, courses, certifications and e-books, accessible to UM employees at work and at home. Coordinated operations for over 100 'I am the U' new employee orientation sessions, acclimating 80-100 new employees to the University each week. Managed employee rosters, maintained program schedule and content, and oversaw session setup and breakdown for each planned session. Developed working relationship with orientation partners including: Building managers and staff, Parking and Transportation, Human Resources Recruitment and Benefits, Catering and others. Developed University printed materials and digital communications for various department related orientations and programs on continued basis.

Booked locations for photo shoots, music videos, and feature films in andaround Miami within 48-72 hours turnaround. Coordinated location logistics including location visits, crew schedules and permitting. Additionally fulfilled administrative tasks as it relates to booking. Worked with clients to include McDonalds, Puma, Kia x Lebron James, and others.

Represented clients in the media through monthly pitches to local editors on the latest client food and beverage menus, trends and dining experiences. I secured placement in outlets including Miami Herald, HauteLiving.com, Thrillist.com, and many others. Monitored press coverage for clients and produced press clippings for archives. I developed targeted media lists for special press, updated client social media, and produced weekly and monthly reports tracking agency PR activities.Engaged with community partners like Yelp and other private companies and dining clubs F&B/Hospitality. Clients represented include: Kimpton Hotel South beach properties, Area 31 at Epic, The Social Club at Surfcomber and Angler's Hotel; Jaguar Ceviche and Peacock Garden Cafe in Coconut Grove; Salon Vaso in Miami Beach and others.

Contributed to marketing, PR and event operations activities for the 2011 Florida BlueClassic, (annual event featuring Florida A & M vs. Bethune Cookman University), Champs Sports Bowl and Capital One Bowl. Specifically, I assisted in efforts to promote the games and increase ticket sales among alumni, community members and fans. I supported the planning of game day logistics including fanfare activities, team travel, field presentations, and halftime show. On gameday I supported management to ensure all aspects of operations activities were met. I was personally responsible for movement of Marching 100 band pre/post Halftime performance and field presentations. In this role I interacted with the university consortium, student leaders, band directors and members, Student athletes, and Florida Blue organization executives.
