Worked in Dr. Marynel Vázquez's lab during the summer doing Robotics research with Shutter, a social robot in the Interactive Machines Group. After the Summer, I continued working during the school year to develop ID persistence in images.- Led a project in the summer to develop new behaviors for our robot Shutter using ROS and MoveIT along with behavior trees.- Performed studies to research effective ways of engaging interaction, deploying Shutter in the wild, resulting in a paper.- Created real-time interfaces to monitor robot status with Vue.js and websockets.- Modified codebase to allow two kinect sensors by establishing identification coherence using PyTorch and heuristics, reconciling sensor data. - Gaze tracking and vector calculations
