Bill Atkinson is the Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing for Sungevity. The company designs home solar systems, provides financing solutions; and manages system installation, maintenance, and performance. Sungevity emerged from Bankruptcy in April 2017, backed by private equity firm Northern Pacific Group, to form Solar Spectrum, which acquired Sungevity’s infrastructure, technology, installer network, supplier warranties and certain agreements. In August, 2017, Solar Spectrum merged with Temecula, California-based Horizon Solar Power to create the second largest provider of residential solar systems in California and the fourth largest in the country. Since 2008, Horizon has been a leading designer and installer of residential and commercial solar systems in Southern California. Going forward, both Horizon Solar Power and Solar Spectrum will operate under a unified “Powered by Sungevity” brand.
