About Wichard De Krijger

For more than 20 years I have worked in the Agri & Food business in various disciplines. In both financial roles as well as ICT roles (ERP). I have always had a strong attachment with operational processes and the streamlining of those processes (think lean). This passion has guided me to the role of Operations and Supply Chain Director.In my current position I direct two production plants. One in China (Hunan-500 FTE) and one in Portugal (200 FTE). I am responsible for the global supply chain within our company. This includes our USA operational transport and shipping movements (road and deep sea transport), internal and external logistics and warehousing.I have extensive experience working worldwide on various projects. Working with different cultures throughout the world is stimulating, challenging and very rewarding. People that have worked with me will describe me as an open-minded person with a positive and flexible attitude towards business challenges. I am stress resistant and eager to learn and bring out the best in people. This means I build strong teams that get things done based on open communication, clear direction and a positive atmosphere.
