Wicky ventured into Silicon Valley and, alongside three recent U.S. master's graduates, co-founded AntX. This team of young, dynamic entrepreneurs made their mark with the launch of their first portable smart scale, garnering significant attention at CES 2020. Their innovative product quickly led to the signing of three contracts in January 2020: one with a buffet restaurant in San Francisco, another with a food court in San Jose, and a third with an autonomous driving company for office lunches in Palo Alto. However, following a successful two-week pilot at the tech company, the unforeseen pandemic necessitated a swift strategic shift. With external outreach plans disrupted, AntX refocused its efforts on internal improvements to navigate the challenges posed by the global health crisis.

Between 2015 and 2019, Wicky co-invented a smart scale system and co-founded a company with his college roommate, revolutionizing the cafeteria industry. The system quickly gained popularity after its launch in October 2015, playing a significant role in the 'Clear Your Plate' campaign, with individual leftovers nearly disappearing within two weeks. This innovative pay-by-weight system, offering freedom of choice, received extensive media coverage from outlets like People's Daily, CCTV News Report (XinWenLianBo), CCTV Focus Report, and various internet news platforms. By March 2023, the core patent of this system was officially granted, theoretically rendering similar systems used by competitors in the Chinese market as infringing. As of today, approximately 5000+ restaurants in China have adopted systems similar to Wicky's invention, serving over 1.5 million people daily. The company now oversees more than 40 cafeterias and has collected over 40 million dietary records across China.

Wicky played a pivotal role in introducing multicore processor-based network systems to the Chinese market, collaborating with Tilera from 2008 to 2014. He successfully secured significant design wins with leading internet companies such as Tencent, Baidu, and Sina Weibo. These companies, initially dependent on traditional NP/ASIC-based network solutions, swiftly transitioned to Tilera's Linux-friendly multicore processing technology for real-time packet processing. This strategic move, well-suited to their strong software development capabilities, led to an extraordinary market impact. At the height of its success, over 75% of the traffic from these internet companies was processed through Tilera processors, a testament to the technology's effectiveness and market penetration. Additionally, this transition contributed to a remarkable $15 million in revenue for Tilera's ecosystem in China. Wicky's foresight and strategic approach set a new industry standard, particularly in the Chinese market. By around 2010, major semiconductor companies like Intel, Marvell, and Broadcom began to acknowledge this trend, initiating direct collaborations with internet companies. This shift underscored a wider industry transformation in semiconductor applications, with Wicky and his team leading the way in the internet sector.
