Network Infrastructure Manager
CurrentManage local infrastructure and plan, test, configure, and integrate new hardware and software of local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN). Ensure design integrity across implementation of all network operating systems, applications software, and network hardware including VOIP and VIPER voice systems. Configure TACLANEs, switches, servers, routers, and the Network Management System (NMS). Manaage network IP space. Develop backup and recovery procedures and perform system maintenance. Assess vulnerabilities and test and validate security networks and systems. Maintain documentation on all accreditation packages for network and systems. Implement new configurations and/or IOS upgrades, as required.Key Accomplishments:Instrumental in the Command Cyber Readiness Inspection(CCRI) at Homestead Air Force Base and ensured high ratings for this DoD compliance inspection.Conducted the Certification and Accreditation of the Homestead AFB networks every 3 years over the last 14 years. Checklists are related to Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).Served as Node Site Coordinator (NSC), interfacing Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), Air Force Network Operations Command (AFNOC), Gunter Design Center, and others involved in services gained.Serve as Communications and Information (C&I) Representative at conferences, seminars, and meetings
