NAPAWF's immigrant rights program aims to bring an Asian and Pacific Islander (API) perspective and a gender analysis to immigration reform efforts, particularly around enforcement, and to more closely link the women’s rights movement with the immigrant rights movement. As a national leader on federal policy issues affecting API women and girls, we serve as a lead voice and expert on immigration issues for this population.

Responsible for development, implementation, and management of Policy Change initiatives under organization’s national Youth Empowerment Programs ensuring that objectives are met accordingly. Responsible for all aspects of policy initiative brand management.

Developed, managed, and oversaw all aspect of the statewide tobacco control policy and advocacy initiative with the goal to reduce tobacco marketing, increase smoke-free outdoor spaces, and promote smoke-free living spaces throughout Brooklyn, NY.

Developed, managed, oversaw, and evaluated a robust service-based youth development program serving 450 low-income South Asian immigrant youth annually at five sites throughout Queens, NY.

Responsible for student recruitment, enrollment packet management, long-term planning, and university representation throughout identified communities in Queens, NY.
