My main job was as marketing manager and assistant director. However, when I first entered, the company required me to learn many other things such as HR, operations, warehouse, finance, sales, and marketing until I was finally placed as marketing manager.As a marketing manager:1) I have to work as a liaison to almost every department and make sure the marketing plan that we have planned can be well executed. 2) I have to build and keep a good relationship with lots of technology companies and discuss lots of possible forms of collaboration.3) I also have to do market research to know what are the trends that are happening nowadays in our environment and community to increase sales or is there any positive contribution we can make for them.4) I also have to learn about our competitor’s product & culture to make sure that we can compete fairly and not bring each other down.
