The EDM festival & club scène has always been ever changing, new people turn 18 every day. After the post-corona year boom we saw a huge shift in traditional festivals en clubbing concepts. An ongoing shift in our target audience seems to be accelerating with new demands that comes with this new generation of party-people that wishes to do things differently. How do we as Appic cater to these new groups of people? And with what tools might we help this new generation in there quest to party?

After my internship I kept close ties in a part time function to finish some implementations of the research I previously made for this organisation. Amongst other tasks, I helped produce a video-podcast to inform our target audience of new best practices. I helped to onboard new students and teach them design skills I increased the design maturity of communication & media

How do keep our Police personnel updated and motivated on new intel and methodes when they’re already tasked with such an intricate and heavy job? What time can we possibly demand these people when they already tasked themselves with the impossible? This research-internship mostly consisted of new ideas & prototypes on how to stimulate intrinsic motivation to learn & research about new methodes. These ideas & prototypes where especially tested and developed in a co-creation with the target audience to bring the balancing act of combating today’s problems more in line with investing in the future abilities. So that issues can be recognised in an early stage to reduce future harm.
