This job consists of varying responsibilities from customer service to day to day operations of the lab such as inventory of supplies and tracking tests and patient results. I am trained to administer COVID-19 vaccines, COVID-19 test (antigen and PCR), DOT and Non-DOT drug screens, along with other varying tests and labs skills.

Used the Epic interface to create appointment notes for patients in real time. Responsible for entering the patient's chief complaint, symptoms, the physical exam and finds, and test to be completed, and any orders from the appointment.

In charge of initial patient intake, including recording a patient's history and taking their vitals. I was responsible for scheduling patient appointments and ordering and entering any testing they may have needed.

Currently working at Texas A&M University conducting undergraduate research, in the Cyberhealth GIS REU, funded by the National Science Foundation. The research i am engaged in combines geography, health, and computer science.

Once to twice a week I intern at Good Samaritan Hospital in the Surgery Center. I am a student intern, so I help the nurses in the recovery room with the patients. I am also charged with entering patient charts into the computer, cleaning patient beds and rooms, and restocking the supply room. This experience has allowed me to get into a hospital and work.
