Wallace was named to the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Z245 SC 8 Landfills Working Group on Safety, Training and Operations to assist in establishing National Landfill Standards on safety, equipment, operations; practicality to OSHA regulations & clarifications to unique issues that occur at landfills in both the public and private sectors.

In this role, Mr. Wallace serves as in Senior Advisor capacity with TriVista assisting clients in the areas of operational due diligence, M&A transactional support, financial assessment, transportation, business improvement, waste management, recycling, process improvement and other critical areas on an as needed basis. Prior to starting WIH Resource Group, LLC, Bob Wallace spent six years with Waste Management, the largest provider of solid waste management services in North America, as their Director of Transportation & Logistics. While with Waste Management, he was responsible for all of the transportation for Waste Management's Western Group (9 Western States) for Waste-by-rail, maritime (tug & barge) and long haul truck traffic as well as the transportation & logistics for some commercial and municipal solid waste and recycling collection contracts.Before joining Waste Management, he spent eight years with a regional truckload carrier, as their Regional Operations Manager and five years with a national trailer leasing company where he served in sales, marketing, and in operational management positions.

Served in Regional Executive Management capacity overseeing three truck terminals in three states. Managed operational, sales and driver staff of over 160 people. Developed programs for increasing customer satisfaction, driver retention, safety improvement, fleet management, and regional profitabilty. I was awarded recognition awards for three consecutive years in a row prior to my departure for best in performance among five company regions throughout the six states, and two Provinces, that we served.

Wallace was the responsible for new manufactured freight trailer sales, trailer fleet leasing to large private and public national transportation companies such as JB Hunt, Schneider, Swift, Gordon and Interstate Distributors. During his tenure, he orchestrated the company's first sale of specialized intermodal container chassis to the Boeing Company. Boeing ordered the specialized chassis to transport large wing assemblies for the 737 aircraft. During his tenure, Wallace also lead key sales and operational efforts to increase the Northwest Region's profitability for Strick Trailers. Strick is one of North America’s premier manufacturers of custom dry freight Class 8 semi-trailers.
