Marine Operations Specialist -Logistic - Marine OperationsNOC is a Company based in Qatar.It is Joint Venture between Qatar Petroleum (QP) and France’s Total S.A. to develop and operate the Al Shaheen oil field.The Vessel Marine Supervisor acting under the direction of the Marine Manager and assist him as required to operate the vessels controlled by the Company in a safe and efficient manner with particular reference to routine marine, navigation, cargo operations and compatibility studies.The role has the overall responsibility for supporting all marine operations during planning, coordination, execution and completion of all operations according to NOC procedures and guidelines, legislative requirements and industry best practice. Within the framework of NOC, inspects and approves AHT, PSV, STB and MPSV vessels within Al Shaheen field according to NOC standards.Reviews and plans marine vessel inspections and verifies vessel technical specifications, keeping a list of approved vessels for spot market and ensuring long term vessels are fully compliant with Companies inspection program.

Operations in Qatar office. The operation includes two FSO’s and various support / DP vessels with a daily production of 300000 bls. Manages functional department and supervising marine operation programs as necessary to keep Marine FSO Operations at work and as directed by head management.

Conversion project at Dubai Dry Dock of two (2) 450.000M3 ULCC's into FSO's (Floating, Storage & Offloading) for the Al-Shaheen Field. Mechanical completion and commissioning

Carried out Tandem mooring operation with VLCC ,Suezmax Tankers and STS operation for Service vessels,Bunker barges and Water barges

Appointed by the Company and acts as its representative in all matters to the unit, personnel, and cargo operation.Appointments gives on authority and responsibility as laid down in flag/costal state regulation and international conventions. O.I.M has overriding authority and discretion to take whatever action he considers to be in the best interest of crew, unit and environment and for the safe operation of the unit or installation.
