As part of my role I'm assisting the Buyer with all aspects of range development and supplier management and correspondance. This includes adhering to deadlines, assistance with building of the Range Plan and managing the critical path process. I'm maintaining a strong relationship with current suppliers, liasing on daily basis on fit samples, photoshoot samples, lab dips, strike offs, bulk fabrics, pre-production samples and shipment samples to ensure timely deliveries.I check and approve lab dips, strike offs and bulk fabrics with support of the Buyer, as well as help prepare the samples for Fits, measuring them and checking for any faults. During fit meetings, I assist the Buyer in examining the samples on all stages to ensure the correct garment construction is followed and communicate with the suppliers in case any fit issues have been noticed suggesting possible solutions. I also assist and oversee fabric testing and size grading for bulk production. I also work with eCom and monitor any QC issues which are communicated to Buyer to look for solutions. Further to this I also assist in preparation for internal meetings including Weekly Trade Meetings, Product Selection, Sign-Offs, Photoshoots, Review meetings. I analyse sales through of the weekly bestsellers and assist the Buyer in presenting in weekly trade meetings alongside the whole business.I also alongside the Buyer gather, analyse and interpret product, market and customer informations to establish trends and implement them into ranges to work cohesively with the brands vision.I'm also responsible for raising product codes in preparation for Purchase Orders creation, preparation of rough orders and liasing with suppliers on pricing.

As part of the role, I was involved in the process of placing purchase orders, my other responsibilities included creating and maintaining the critical path, keeping style numbers as well as description of them up to date, working closely with the IT team to ensure the online content of the website matched with physical items. While attending fit sessions I helped with taking note of changes and adjustments, I also maintained to the highest standard sample library, racking up samples, chasing up suppliers to ensure new and adjusted samples are delivered in an efficient timeframe, as well as created fashion trend boards and lookbooks for buying meetings, and assisted the buyer during the sign offs for new collections.

My job as an Allocator was mainly to provide support to the whole of the fashion merchandising team, as well as the buying team. My main responsibilities included ensuring that the stock is directed to stores in the right volumes, which has been achieved through thorough analysis of reports provided by the merchandising team.Another part of my role involved maintaining and chasing up deliveries of stock, that involved close cooperation with suppliers in overseas countries as well as negotiating discounts where the delivery dates couldn't be kept.
