My responsibility included the coordination of global purchases and supply management techniques designed to support customer demand and production schedule, while achieving the most favorable unit cost/PPV and superior quality with managed supplier lead-times. Kanban/DFT, quality improvement, purchasing system enhancements, supplier selection/ development, VMI programs While managing Inventory Control, Kitting, Receiving, and Shipping departments, coordinating all departments efforts to increase inventory turns while minimizing excess/obsolete inventory.

Managed and Monitor performance of Purchasing Agents and Junior Purchasing Agents Managed and distribute monthly cost saving, monthly budget, weekly tracking for direct and non direct materials.Develop PPV model with cost accounting. Establish and maintain contracts database, create key commodity contract plans, negotiate, & manage key supplier contracts to ensure that the required legal terms and conditions. Established VMI consignment and in-store programs. Internal & External Kanban programs.

Managed company’s activities of purchasing, negotiations, receiving, receiving inspection, sourcing, outside processing and inventory control functions. Supported Production Scheduling on all material flow issues to meet customer requirements and exceeded company objectives. Implemented, and maintained a Commodity Inventory Strategy in support of company's supply chain directive.
