I am looking forward to using a recent, fortunate opportunity. I have returned to school to finish my 1st Bachelor's degree. Many years ago, while I was paying for school myself without much financial aid, I was forced to pause my education just a year short of graduation. Life got in the way and I had to work to survive. At the same time, I was caring for a dying parent. In the coming few years, I anticipate working in a professional career, whether that be teaching in secondary education or utilizing my extensive experience in service, direct sales, media creation, journalism, creative writing, and promotional relations I have been passionate about the arts and, specifically, Theatre for as long as I can remember. What I'm most proud of is my background as an accomplished, professional performing artist with an education in stagecraft, Shakespeare, musical theatre, children's theatre, improvisation, creative writing, and vocal performance. Although I do have many commercial credits and years of live promotional experience, the bulk of my accomplishments have been on a live, theatrical stage. I have worked on stage every single year for the past 35 years. That time includes 18 seasons with Oklahoma Shakespeare in The Park, 10+ years with Oklahoma Children's Theatre, 15 years with Whodunit Dining Room (an improv murder-mystery experience), 20 years at The Pollard Theatre in Guthrie, Oklahoma, working as a singing waiter on Broadway in New York City, and involvement with various community theaters locally.
