Worked at ISSC which became IBM Global service on the rollout of their Local Internet Gateway (LIG) project within Australia. LIG's were IBM internet point of presence devices. They consisted of chassis of Texas Instruments modems connected to an IBM server.After the rollout of the LIG project, I was responsible for looking after the IBM internet network in Australia connecting leased line customers to it using a mix of Cisco and IBM routers, mostly using PPP over ISDN as the WAN protocols.
