Born and raised a poor boy in a small town I moved to the big city to get a degree. But most of what I learned I learned out of school in the real world. Computers, people, regrets, all valuable knowledge. I haven't accomplished much else in life, but I'm not done yet, so it kind of is premature to write a summary.I am passionate about education, culture, history, linguistics, philosophy (especially epistemology and ethics), games, and technology and media. My favorite professional experience was working for UBC engaging in curating/facilitating various programs in Vancouver's DTES.I write in my spare time and enjoy the creative process. I'd paint or draw, but your four year old could probably to better. Instead, I focus on words and spend much of my time working on both fiction and non-fiction.
