What do full stack development and poker have in common?Both full stack development and poker require a combination of strategy, technical skills and a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.By being on both sides of the poker felt, I have gained valuable insights and translated them into actionable steps in the real world. While fostering relationships with regular players up to world champions and everyone in between, I have helped progress the poker room I currently work at from $25 daily buy-in tournaments to $5,000 buy-in events with $1M prize pools. The poker room is considered THE place to play in Northern California. In order to accomplish thag, I have invested thousands of hours in to training poker dealers and supervisors and holding team members accountable. Despite my love for training, I consider myself a perpetual student eager to learn more. I take great pride in being a curious and inquisitive learner who is unafraid of asking questions and pursuing answers, particularly when faced with unfamiliar concepts or problems.I plan to apply the experience and knowledge I have gained from the poker industry to the field of full-stack development.
