In my current role as Team Lead, my main responsibility is to oversee the work of 20+ direct reports under the Authentication & Quality teams and make sure that all individual & team responsibilities are excellently fulfilled. In addition, I have been in charge with managing team member staffing for the ultimate goals of meeting daily business demands and achieving the company’s productivity targets. My role in the company has also been instrumental in the opening of its largest authentication center, where I’ve also been tasked with actively spearhead all relevant quality improvement initiatives.

Prior to being promoted to the Team Lead role, I was given the task of monitoring the productivity of team members I handle and formulating wide-ranging strategies to boost ensure the accomplishment of daily & weekly goals. Something I did to achieve overall business efficiency was to foster a culture of active communication & strong cooperation with other company departments & teams despite varying locations. During my time in the role, I exercised positive, impactful leadership over new team members struggling to hit productivity goals, which eventually became crucial in addressing the team’s productivity gaps and improving the team’s overall output.

Upon entering StockX, I was already commended for my adaptability and willingness to providing extensive, onsite support for the first business location in Portland and an overseas location in Eindhoven. In performing my responsibilities, I held fast to my commitment of complying strictly with authentication & QA standards to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and avoid legal issues concerning product authenticity & shoe quality. Furthermore, I was recognized for holding a company metric standard of 99.99% for over a year as a result of consistent excellence in authentication work.

As a Lead Retail Consultant, I tried my best to handle various responsibilities excellently and efficiently. These responsibilities included managing hourly updates on carriage & shipment, as well as keeping track of the daily job accomplishments of supervised team members. The latter was done to identify which areas are well-handled and which work areas necessitate improvement & process reform. Moreover, I made it an active duty to foster strong workplace relations, which helped eliminate various issues concerning task assignment & contributed to team efficiency.
