• Improved department design dexterity and turnaround for client feedback by introducing a registry, to efficiently track client supplied mine plan designs.• Improved format and detail of short term mine plans for hydraulic excavator fleet, thereby improving visual readability for mine operation personnel to better communicate the information required to safely complete the task.• Improved estimates of blasted stock by conducting post-blast swell factor studies, and inferring stratigraphic clay profiles from surveyed highwall scans and digital photography. This improved the confidence of the short and medium term schedule.• Developed plans that focused on work areas optimised for the equipment fleet, or alternatively an optimised mining sequence for an alternate equipment fleet to safely and efficiently operate in the work area.• Developed a descriptive how to guide for creating short term mine plans in Microsoft PowerPoint, with emphasis on the plans distinctive format and details for different hydraulic excavator classes operating in different material types. • Assisted Graduate Mining Engineers with technical mine design through knowledge development and sharing.

Lake Vermont Coal Project

• Developed water management plan that helped mine personnel with wet weather preparedness and effective resource allocation.
