I am Wilco Peeters I can be characterized as an inspiring and motivational person, packed with creativity and great conceptual thinking skills and a proven entrepreneurial mindset. Colleagues call me a real team player, easy going and fun to work with. Because I tend to see opportunities and solutions were others see only set-backs and problems my drive to move forward causes some people to call me impatient. What I really like is to work on new topics with different people at external sites. That usually creates multiple opportunities to use my skills and make the difference to achieve tangible goals. Although people see me as a real team player, “out in the field I can work independently and take autonomously decisions on the spot needed to full fill the tasks I am working on. Being entrepreneurial I am used to “live outside the box” and not afraid to take side steps to achieve what is needed. Pragmatism plays a key role during my endeavors and is balancing my creativity.During my years in a multinational research environment I build a track record in scale up and international tech transfers for multiple fermentation as well as bio-catalytic processes. Next to this several successful trouble shoot projects were performed. Also a expat period of 2.5 years added valuable experiences to my career. Next to my work in a multinational I run my own company which brought me experience in founding startups and many priceless moments related to innovation, management, decision making, entrepreneurship and creating tangible products. I really like the dynamics that surround setting up new activities. Needless to say that all this brought me an extensive network of divers people. My life is an adventure and I love it.
