As a part of two forward-thinking teams that managed the lifecycles of national cell tower equipment, I got the opportunity to both self-manage and work with others on novel projects. Tackling assignments with an agile approach, I began by discussing inefficiencies and designing solutions with stakeholders, iteratively expanding on products according to new user stories. Tasks included the creation of a data-sharing React application that would minimize licensing fees, building a full-stack mobile application to ease contractor duties, and collecting internal data for advanced insights using tools such as Python, Splunk, and Tableau. These initiatives created minimum savings of $343K per year by reducing manual labor and increasing the visibility of TELUS' information.

For my capstone project, I had the pleasure of aiding Unico Power in expanding its current lineup of electric vehicle chargers for the single-family home market. Throughout the entire process, my team followed an extensive project scoping document that allowed us to identify all aspects of development, from cost estimation to use case descriptions, minimizing the chance of issues in production. We integrated new designs into their Angular web app, added additional endpoints to their cloud API, and created a centralized home communication server using TypeScript and NodeJS. We also constructed unit tests and performed hardware trials to prove our final product's success.

Tasked with producing a responsive website for Ayts, I was the lead web developer managing the company's online presence. From design to implementation, I iteratively tailored the website according to the wants and needs of company stakeholders. Therefore, the animations, layouts, and overall aesthetic of the product best represented the visions of the corporation. The technical stack consisted of HTML and CSS, and I got the opportunity to learn about SEO and optimizing for different views, as well as web animation libraries like AnimeJS.

Built Jupyter Notebooks alongside a cross-country team of students, researchers, and professors to create interactive lessons for students from middle school to university. The mission was to build a wealth of teaching resources that highlight computer science technologies by employing dynamic Python and HTML code. Utilizing a weekly SCRUM development cycle, we tracked tasks and allocated resources accordingly. Ultimately, I was able to contribute three unique notebooks and refactor five lessons.
