Core member of the management team responsible for all aspects of Freedom’s 700+ enterprise systems (Unix, Linux, MS, SAN, NAS) located across multiple data centers.■ Supervised 24x7 third level support team that was responsible for all aspects (research, budget, design, implementation and support) of 900+ enterprise server and storage systems (business and web) located across multiple data centers. ■ Designed, implemented and supported an open source monitoring system for 2000+ devices (all network, servers, storage and databases) spread across four data centers, and a D2D2T backup system for 900+ web and business systems (AIX, Linux, Solaris, Windows). ■ Supported scalable, fully automated mass hosting web solutions (Zeus) which supported thousands of internal and external websites. Support for the operation and maintenance of 2000+ UNIX systems on the AMEX global network. Administration of on-line transactions and applications, allowing American Express card members to access account information, travel reservations, on-line shopping, etc., via the Internet.■ Served as a liaison; optimizing data security through collaboration with Network Administration, Unix System Administration, NT Administration, DBA, and Backup and Recovery Administration teams. Maintained a corporate-wide email system; monitoring the corporate internet gateway for security breaches (both internal and external).

■ Led operations and helpdesk groups, which supported 24x7 operations of the Data Center for Maricopa County Health System (including 32 remote locations and 4000+ users). Created Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintained helpdesk tracking software and databases.■ Performed system migrations; configuring new systems and peripherals to work with current infrastructure and providing support. Coordinated the consolidation of two data centers into a new state-of-the-art data center, while facilitating migration from obsolete to new IBM/AIX and HP/UX systems.■ Reengineered the Help Desk structure, which resulted in a 45% increase in calls immediately resolved by the first level support.■ Provided Subject Matter Expertise (SME) on performance management methodologies during the implementation of (hardware/software) technology enhancements. Presented ideas for implementation and risk mitigation; while preparing agendas and status reports. Ensured adherence to project deadlines.
