The Providing for Peacekeeping Project (PPP) aims to generate and disseminate current information and analysis to support efforts to “broaden the base” of troop- and police-contributing countries, improve the quality of troop and police contributions, and fill key capability gaps.I drafted an analysis on Peru's contribution to United Nations peacekeeping operations. I monitor the latest developments across a variety of US-based companies. Some of the companies I have discuss include Boeing, Ingalls Shipbuilding, Lockheed Martin, Raytheon Technologies, Textron, among others.

Senior Research Fellow at the Council on Hemispheric Affairs (COHA) where he focuses on geopolitics, military and cyber security issues. He regularly appears in different media outlets like New Internationalist, Newsweek , Al Jazeera, BBC, Le Figaro, and the Washington Diplomat, among others. My analyses have appeared in numerous refereed journals including Small Wars and Insurgencies, Defence Studies, the Journal of Slavic Military Studies, European Security, Studies in Conflict and Terrorism and Cuban Affairs.I will appear in the upcoming documentary “Uncensored,” discussing the influence of drugkingpin Pablo Escobar and violence towards journalists in Colombia in the 1980s.Finally, I'm also a regular contributor for COHA’s publication The Washington Report on the Hemisphere.

 Aided with a variety of events like board meetings or organized by CIP programs, including helping find appropriate venues, ordering catering services, sending out invitations and advertising, as well as logistics on the day of the event. Aided the CFO with uploading invoices to Quickbooks, making wire transfers, cutting checks and managing accounting data in Excel spreadsheets. In charge of CIP’s publications (International Policy Reports, Briefs etc), using InDesign and Photoshop for the layout and then working with the printer regarding costs and printing deadlines.  Maintained the organization's website, using Dreamweaver as well as our database of e-subscribers (using Vertical Response and other e-marketing services).  Worked as intern coordinator, networking with different universities, interviewing interns and selecting the most qualified applicant to each CIP program.
